901-L: Drawing Waves 2: Wavelength and amplitude

BACK to Ladder Wave Structure

In Drawing Waves 1A, you learned how to draw a wave with a particular wavelength. In Drawing Waves 1B, you learned how to draw a wave with a particular amplitude. In this pod, we will combine these two methods, to draw a wave with a wavelength and amplitude given.

For each of the waves below, draw a wave with the specific wavelength and amplitude stated. Draw at least three wavelengths (three crests and three troughs).

This assignment must be completed on graph paper! If you don't have any, use a ruler to turn lined paper into graph paper or print out this page.

    • Wavelength = 3 squares
